Hearings Scheduled for City Tax Rate Proposed Rate Increase

A tax rate of $0.80690 per $100 valuation has been proposed for adoption by the governing body of the City of Orange, Texas. This rate exceeds the lower of the effective or rollback tax rate, and state law requires that two public hearings be held by the governing body before adopting the proposed tax rate.

Dow Sabine River Employees Remove Trash From MLK Drive

Employees from Dow Sabine River Operations were out on Thursday, August 15, collecting and disposing of trash along MLK Drive in Orange, Texas. Last year, Dow employees removed 54,000 pounds of trash from waterways across the globe. Goals for 2019 include collecting 100,000 pounds of waste at more than 100 sites, including clean-ups just like
