The City of Orange encourages citizens who may need some sort of assistance during an emergency or disaster event to register for the STEAR program. We encourage those citizens who have disabilities, limited mobility, communication barriers, who require medical assistance, etc. to register in STEAR
STEAR is a free registration that provides local emergency planners and rescue workers with additional information on community needs.
Texas communities use registration information in different ways. Sign up for STEAR does not guarantee you will receive a specific service during an emergency. Available services and resources will vary depending on the community.
