The Stark Museum of Art will give students the opportunity to sharpen their drawing skills in January. During this four-week class, Fundamentals of Prismacolor Colored Pencils, students in 5th-8th grade will learn how to layer color using Prismacolor Colored Pencils. Students will learn how to properly hold a pencil, how to draw and shade, and create realistic textures using only colored pencils.
The class will culminate with a matted 11×14 apple study that students will be proud to display. This four-week class will provide a solid skill base for your young artist to advance their ability and deepen their love of drawing. The class size is limited to a maximum of 10 students. Registration is $40 per student, and all materials are provided.
