City of Orange Announces Adopt a Spot Program

in Government

City of Orange Director of Planning and Community Development, Kelvin Knauf, presented the “Adopt-a-Spot” program during the Orange City Council Meeting on March 8, 2022. The Adopt-a-Spot program is intended to provide residents and/or organizations with a way to make Orange a more beautiful city in which to live, work, and play. The Adopt-a-Spot program encourages citizen participation in beautification projects of a permanent nature on public and/or private property.

Examples of projects may include painting a mural, landscaping, cleanup of blighted areas, beautification campaigns, and/or construction of a fountain, gazebo, sculpture, or other structures.

Additional information concerning the Adopt-a-Spot program and program applications can be found here.
