Breakfast With Santa Planned by Orange Kiwanis Club

Santa Claus is coming to town for the 72nd Annual Orange, TX Christmas Parade and he is staying for breakfast.

The Kiwanis Club of Orange’s 8th annual Breakfast with Santa will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 7:30 AM – 10:00 AM at Spanky’s Bar and Grill, 1703 North 16th St. in Orange.

Families will enjoy breakfast with the family and photos with Santa. Tickets are $12 each and can be purchased here.

Santa to Visit Heritage House

The Heritage House of Orange County will present Christmas with Santa at 905 W. Division Orange, Tx 77630 on Saturday, December 11, 2021, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and Sunday, December 12, 2021, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.

This is a free community event. Visitors are invited to new construction as they try to recover from past hurricanes. Santa will be here offering a picture-perfect holiday opportunity.

Pictures are free with your own cameras. However, Heritage House will have a professional photographer available for a fee of $10.00. With this photo opportunity, you will receive one professional photo that has been edited and placed in a Heritage House Museum template. Photos will be emailed to the guest.

OFD Hosting 6th Annual Fill the Fire Truck Campaign

The City of Orange Fire Department will be hosting the 6th annual “Fill the Fire Truck Campaign” at Central Fire Station, located at 501 N. 7th Street. “The lobby of Central Fire Station houses a vintage fire truck. The truck represents firefighters of the past, their sacrifices, and a commitment to community service. In 2016, the vintage fire truck was able to serve the community once again and has collected more than 800 gifts in the past 5 years for families in need within the Orange Community,” says John Bilbo, City of Orange Fire Marshal.

Donations of new unwrapped toys will be accepted from November 19 through December 13 between 8 A.M. and 5 P.M. any day of the week. Gifts may be dropped off at any of the City of Orange fire stations:

  • Central Fire Station – 501 N. 7th St.
  • Fire Station #2 – 1901 Allie Payne
  • Fire Station #3 – 1717 MLK Dr.

All donations will be distributed to local nonprofit organizations.

Shangri La Plans Dreaming of a Green Christmas Event

Dreaming of a Green Christmas is a family-friendly event to celebrate the holiday season on Saturday, December 11, 2021.

The day begins at 10:30 a.m. with multiple holiday festive hands-on activities, including ornament making using natural materials, gift bow making from reclaimed paper, and more! Kids and adults will enjoy this opportunity to create holiday festive creations for their tree, home, or a loved one.

While they are here, visitors can stroll through Shangri La Gardens to enjoy beautiful community-decorated Christmas trees, along with other seasonal decorations and flowers. There will be multiple holiday-festive photo ops available for family photos.

Activities and admission are FREE, no timed ticket is required.
