Corks & Cultivate Program Coming to Free State Cellars Winery

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office of Orange County, in collaboration with Free State Cellars Winery, is excited to announce the Corks & Cultivate program, a unique blend of education and social connection taking place on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the beautiful Free State Cellars Winery located at 4702 Tejas Parkway in Orange.

Join us for an immersive day among the vines at Free State Cellars, a local gem in Orange County. Discover the wealth of knowledge and services provided by the Orange County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Texas Master Naturalists: Sabine-Neches Chapter, and the Orange County Master Gardeners. This day-long event is designed to offer something for everyone, from gardening enthusiasts to culinary connoisseurs, with a wide range of interactive classes and workshops.

Class Options Include:

  • Mindful Eating
  • Native Bee Hotel Building
  • Grilling 101
  • Water Bath Canning
  • Charcuterie Class
  • Butterfly Gardening

This program offers multiple ticket options tailored to suit your preferences:

  • Option A: All Sessions ($150) – Includes a wine flight, a steak to grill, sides, and snacks
  • Option B: Sessions 1 & 2 Only ($45)
  • Option C: Social Hour Only ($30)

In addition to educational experiences, attendees can look forward to door prizes generously donated by local agricultural businesses, contributing to the theme of “Helping Texans Thrive – Better, Healthier, Smarter.”
