Bridge City Fire & Rescue is excited to invite the community and local businesses to an Open House event as part of the National Fire Prevention Week. The event will occur on October 24, 2024, from 5 PM to 9 PM at the BCFR Central Station at 330 Bland in Bridge City.
During this special event, attendees will have the opportunity to witness a live fire demonstration designed to showcase the skills and bravery of our volunteer firefighters. The demonstration aims to educate the public on fire safety and the critical role of firefighters in our community.
In addition to the live demonstration, the event will feature:
- Interactive Displays: Engage with our firefighters, view our modern firefighting equipment, and learn more about fire safety.
- Photo Opportunities: Take memorable photos with Sparky the Fire Dog, our firetrucks, and the courageous men and women of the Bridge City Fire & Rescue.
- Complimentary Refreshments: Enjoy free popcorn and drinks while supplies last.
Bridge City Fire & Rescue is seeking the support of local businesses to help make this event possible. Contributions will go towards purchasing supplies for the live demo and providing dinner for our volunteer firefighters who dedicate their time to protect our community.
This is an excellent opportunity for community engagement and to support local emergency services in their mission to educate and protect. For more information or to become a sponsor, please contact Nathan Fowler at (409) 735-2419.
