The City of West Orange announced its Fall Clean-Up Days for Oct. 15-16, 2021 from 9 AM – 3 PM. Dumpsters will be available behind the West Orange Fire Station for WO residents only. Proof of residency and photo ID will be required at the drop site. Normal household waste will not be accepted.
No hazardous materials, tires, batteries, paint, etc. will be accepted. Any items containing Freon must be drained and tagged by an individual certified to do that work. If you have old batteries Auto-Zone, Battery Warehouse, and O’Reilly’s will pay you 4 to 5 dollars a battery. Old tires can be brought to Superior Tire or Monica Brothers for disposal.
Appliances, furniture, metal, and green waste will be accepted but must be transported to the drop site. The City will not be able to arrange any special pickups.
