Golden Triangle Polymers Company (GTPC) is working on an intersection reconfiguration at SH87 (Edgar Brown Drive) and BUS90 (Strickland Drive). The traffic change includes re-striping the SH87 northbound inside lane into a left turn lane, creating approximately 1,500 feet of double left turn lanes onto BUS90.
This eliminates the center turn lane into the first primary Walmart Shopping center entrance heading south.
There will be modifications to the existing traffic signal to accommodate the addition of the double left turn. These improvements will be removed once the facility construction is complete.
