The former Pop’s Place, located at 4795 N Main St. in Vidor, has a new owner and a new concept.
New owner Joseph Crapanzano wants to create a family-oriented restaurant under a new name, Gerri Joe’s.
Crapanzano has restaurants in Miami, LA, New York, and New Jersey. Crapanzano’s prime goal is to make his new venture a place where families can go to enjoy a meal.
Renovations are scheduled to start next week, including paving the parking lot, painting, cosmetic updates, and thorough cleaning. The goal is to open in the next two months.
The restaurant will also be bringing approximately 6 full-time and 6 part-time jobs to the area.
