Orange Public Library Announces 2020 Summer Reading Program

in Events/Government

The Orange Public Library invites children (birth – 6th grade) to join us for the 2020 Summer Reading Program- “Imagine Your Story!” Registration for all programs will begin on Monday, June 1st. Due to current COVID-19 protocols, this year’s program will consist of virtual programs, activities, crafts, and READING.

Each week a packet may be picked up at the Library, to be completed at home. In place of library bucks, each child will have the opportunity to earn up to 12 entries into an end of the program prize drawing. Also, at the end of the program, each child will receive a reading certificate and participation incentives for turning in their reading log.

The YA/Teen (7th – 11th grades) program will also include activities, crafts, and reading. Various activities, as well as returning weekly reading logs, will earn the participant entries into an end of program drawing, as well as participation incentives.
