Waking up every day became another chance to make at least one person’s life better.” However, it was when John reached the journeyman level that he saw the ceiling that many of his colleagues hit—a plateau where growth stalled, and the only option was to maintain the status quo until retirement.
It was this realization, combined with a deep desire to do things differently, that led John to take the leap into entrepreneurship. “At each company I was fortunate to work at, I got to see a bit of the inner workings and always had a feeling that I wanted to do it differently,” John shares. The decision to start his own business culminated from years of hard work, dedication, and a commitment to building lasting customer relationships. “The choice was really an easy one,” he says. “I’ve spent two years getting to the truck as a helper, two more running a truck, and another four refining my skills as a service plumber.”
