World Renew Disaster Response Services Available to Meet About Unmet Needs From Harvey and Imelda

Are you still Recovering from Tropical Storms Harvey & Imelda?

If the tropical storm has left you with financial, emotional, or household needs, we want to help.

Orange County Disaster Rebuild wants to make sure you, a member of our community, are supported in your recovery. It is for this reason that they have invited WORLD RENEW, also known as “THE GREEN SHIRTS” into our community. World Renew Green Shirt volunteers are eager to meet with you personally to help you with your tropical storm-related needs. They will be available to meet with you individually to gather data and prioritize your needs so Orange County Disaster Rebuild can connect you with the resources you may need.

World Renew will open up two walk-in centers for two weeks in Orange County starting on Monday, January 20, 2020, through Friday, January 31, 2020, from 9 am to 4 pm and one Saturday 9 am – 1 pm.

One walk-in center will be located at the Orange County Convention & Expo Center at 11475 FM 1442; Orange, Texas 77630, and the other one will be located at Nehemiah’s Vision Main Office located at 460 Main Street; Vidor, Texas 77662.

World Renew volunteers may also be working door-to-door in the affected areas between 9:30 am – 4:00 pm during each week. These volunteers will be wearing dark green shirts and carrying identification.
