As West Orange-Cove Consolidated Independent School District (WOCCISD) prepares for the 2025–2026 academic year, the district is proud to announce a major leadership transition that reflects its commitment to excellence, inspiration, and student success. Brodrick McGrew has been named the new Principal of West Orange-Stark High School, bringing energy, experience, and a heart for service to the Mustang family.
A graduate of the University of North Texas, McGrew holds a degree in Applied Training and Technology Development and a superintendent’s certification. He has already made a lasting impact at WOCCISD as the former Principal of West Orange-Stark Middle School, where his student-first philosophy and tireless dedication earned the respect of staff, families, and the broader community.
McGrew’s reason for returning to the high school level is simple yet profound: “The kids.” His deep belief in the potential of every student continues to shape his leadership style and vision for West Orange-Stark High School.
When asked what path he might have pursued outside of education, McGrew shared that he would have become a nurse—another testament to his passion for serving others.
WOCCISD invites families, students, and the community to join in welcoming Principal McGrew to his new role as the district builds on its momentum for a strong and successful school year ahead.
