Join Shangri La Botanical Gardens & Nature Center on select Wednesdays in July and August for their family-friendly Wild Wednesday programs. All Wild Wednesday programs are paired with a book. Each adventure will start with story time, followed by hands-on activities related to the story. Participants should be prepared for reading to come to life as we explore nature each Wild Wednesday.
July 31, 2024, from 9:30-10:30 a.m: The Very Clumsy Click Beetle
Beetles, bugs, weevils, and slugs! Let’s look into who lives underground. We’ll search for crawly critters in rotten logs, fallen leaf litter, and even the wiggly worms in our compost bin.
