Join Vidor Mayor Misty Songe in Vidor’s Main Street Clean-up on Earth Day, April 22, 2023, from 9 AM-noon. Participants will meet up at Market Basket at 9 am and disburse from there.
Items accepted include heavy trash, debris, wood, brush, heavy brush, and furniture. Two dumpsters will be located at 695 E. Railroad in Vidor from 7 AM – 3 PM. These are free to use by the public until they are full.
Items that will not be accepted include hazardous materials, paint, electronic waste, automotive fluids, batteries, commercial or passenger car tires, and commercial debris.
The event is sponsored by the City of Vidor, Republic Services, Charlotte Ragan Premier Real Estate, and the Vidor Chamber of Commerce.
