Country music fans are in for a one-of-a-kind experience when Twitty & Lynn, featuring Tre Twitty and Tayla Lynn, takes the stage at the Lutcher Theater on February 15, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. This highly anticipated concert will give audiences the rare opportunity to witness the next generation of country music royalty as the grandchildren of legends Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn reconnect with the sounds and stories that defined an era of music.

Their connection begins the moment the band plays the familiar signature intro to “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man.” At that moment, Tre and Tayla exchange a look filled with the unmistakable chemistry of their grandparents, transporting fans to a time when Conway and Loretta defined country music. With Tre’s powerful voice echoing Conway’s hits and Tayla’s passion for bringing Loretta’s songs to life, audiences experience the nostalgia of two iconic legacies.

“Fans have told Tayla and me that when they see us onstage, singing, talking, and just looking at each other, they think, ‘Wow, there must be something genetic in those two families,’” says Tre Twitty. “It validates their experience of the concert. We’re telling our grandparents’ story through our story.”

Tre and Tayla began collaborating in 2018 when Tayla, inspired by Tre’s tribute to his grandfather, approached him about collaborating on a show. Despite having grown up apart, the pair quickly realized they shared a deep connection musically and personally.

“Even though we didn’t grow up together, meeting each other wasn’t like meeting strangers,” said Tayla Lynn. “It was like we had always known each other because we had the same experiences.”

Since their first show together, Twitty & Lynn have captivated audiences nationwide, and their upcoming performance at the Lutcher Theater promises to be no different. With a set list that includes both Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn’s greatest hits, along with stories of the two legends’ lives and careers, the evening will be a celebration of country music’s rich heritage.

The Twitty & Lynn concert is part of the Lutcher Theater’s enLight Series, which showcases emerging artists and rising stars across various genres. The Series is designed to introduce audiences to fresh, dynamic voices in the music industry. Tre and Tayla’s performance is a perfect example of its commitment to spotlighting exciting talent that honors the roots of country music while looking to the future.

“The Lutcher enLight Series is part of the theater’s ongoing commitment to supporting the arts and bringing emerging artists to the stage,” said Lynae Sanford, executive director of the Lutcher Theater. “When I saw Tre and Tyla perform together and the way they carry on the legacy of their iconic grandparents through their performances, I knew they would be perfect for this concert series. Their performance showcases the power of family ties and the enduring influence of classic country music.”
