Texas A&M Agrilife Offers Food Handler and Food Manager Programs in August

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office is holding a Food Handler training class on August 4, 2023, from 3-5 PM at the Orange County AgriLife Extension office at 11475 FM 1442, Orange, TX. This class costs $20 and is due on the day of the class.

This class is required for all food service employees in the state of Texas. The class covers Cross Contamination, Time and Temperature Abuse, Personal Hygiene, and many other aspects of food service.

They are also holding 2-Day Food Manager’s Certification Training with Test. This course will help you to:

  • Understand the major causes of foodborne illnesses and how to prevent them,
  • Increase the food safety knowledge of your employees,
  • Improve relationships with health officials.

Upon passing the certification exam, you will fulfill state requirements for Certified Food Manager status.

  • Sanitation regulations
  • HACCP
  • AND MORE!

The classes will be held on August 9-10, 2023, from 9 am until 4 pm. These will be held at the Orange County Extension Office at 11475 FM 1442, Orange, TX.
