The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office and Orange County Environmental Health and Code Compliance are hosting a Texas Cottage Food Law Class for individuals interested in starting or currently operating a homemade food business.
This free educational session will be held on March 13, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Orange County Convention and Expo Center. It will provide valuable insights into Texas Cottage Food Laws, including legal requirements and best practices for selling homemade goods on social media, at farmers’ markets, and more.
Fallon White, County Extension Agent, and James Scales, Orange County Health Inspector, will lead the class and offer expert guidance on food safety and compliance regulations.
