Family Fun, and Food Fest Planned for March 21

Out of precaution, the City of Orange Convention and Visitors Bureau has canceled the Family Fun & Food Fest scheduled to take place at the Riverfront Boardwalk and Pavilion on Saturday, March 21.

The City of Orange is saddened to make this decision; however, the health and well-being of our community, citizens, and visitors is of utmost importance. Although there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Orange County, the City of Orange is taking precautionary measures to reduce unnecessary risks.

The City of Orange Convention and Visitors Bureau encourages event attendees to stay up-to-date with event information online on their website or through their Facebook page.

Spring is just around the corner and there is no better way to celebrate than with a Family Fun & Food Fest!

Join the Orange Convention & Visitors Bureau at the Riverfront Boardwalk and Pavilion on Saturday, March 21, from 11 A.M. to 9 P.M. and enjoy a day filled with family-friendly fun!

There will be no charge to attend the Family Fun & Food Fest in downtown Orange.

Enjoy activities sure to entertain those of all ages such as a petting zoo, bounce houses, and much more! Attendees are invited to grab great bites to eat from a number of food trucks available on site. End your fun-filled day with a movie on the lawn featuring Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory on a large inflatable screen beginning at approximately 7:30 P.M.

Please note, no dogs, no pets, and no coolers will be allowed at the Riverfront Boardwalk and Pavilion. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket for viewing of the film.

Mardi Gras 2020 Comes to Orange

The City of Orange Convention and Visitors Bureau, in partnership with the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce, will be hosting the 17th Annual Mardi Gras Weekend – February 14 & 15.

Opening the Orange Mardi Gras Weekend, the Flashback Friday Parade will be held on Friday, February 14, beginning at 6:30 P.M. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their best 80’s attire. Live entertainment by LA Roxx will immediately follow the Flashback Friday Parade at the Riverfront Pavilion.

The 4th Annual Munchkin Parade will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 15. The Krewe of Krewe’s Grand Parade will begin at 6:00 P.M.

Food and drink vendors will be on-site throughout the weekend festivities. A children’s activity area will be available providing fun for the entire family! Please note, no dogs or pets will be allowed at the Riverfront Boardwalk and Pavilion. Coolers are welcome.

Mardi Gras Comes to Orange in 2020

The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Orange Convention and Visitors Bureau, will be hosting the 17th Annual Mardi Gras Weekend – February 14 & 15, 2020.

Halloween Spooktacular featuring Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

The City of Orange Convention and Visitors Bureau will be hosting a Halloween Spooktacular featuring the film, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, (1971) on Saturday, October 26, from 5 P.M. – 9 P.M. at the Riverfront Boardwalk and Pavilion.

This event will include trunk-or-treat activities, bounce houses, and popcorn beginning at 5 P.M. The film will begin at approximately 7 P.M. Food and drink vendors will be available on site.

This event is free to the public, and please note, no dogs or pets will be allowed at the Riverfront Boardwalk and Pavilion. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets.

Orange Riverfront Car and Bike Show Scheduled for September 14

The Orange Convention and Visitors Bureau is excited to announce the Orange Riverfront Car and Bike Show. This event will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019, from 9 A.M. to 2 P.M. at the Riverfront Boardwalk and Pavilion, located at 601 W. Division Avenue.

“The City of Orange is excited to bring something new for citizens and visitors to take part in. The car and bike show will provide loads of fun for all ages. We encourage families to come and spend the day with us and enjoy this FREE event,” says Brandy Judice, Convention and Visitors Bureau Coordinator.

The Orange Riverfront Car and Bike Show will include a number of classic cars, motorcycles, children’s activities, and complimentary lunch including hotdogs and beverages. The awards ceremony will begin at 1:30 P.M. where the top 25 classic car entries and top 5 motorcycle entries will receive a trophy, in addition to the Mayor’s Award, Fire Chief’s Award, and Police Chief’s Award. Please note, no dogs, no pets, no bicycles, and no skateboards will be allowed at the Riverfront Boardwalk and Pavilion.

Registration for the car show will be held on-site the morning of the event beginning at 8 A.M. There will be no pre-registration available for this event.
