Stark Museum of Art Offers Papermaking Workshop

in Arts/Events

Discover the process of creating handmade paper at the CREATE! Workshop: Papermaking on Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 10:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. at the Stark Museum of Art.

Participants will add color and natural elements such as flowers, seeds, and leaves to create their own special paper that can be used for a variety of crafts. CREATE! Workshops are multigenerational and designed for artists 8 years old to adults. All supplies are included in the $5 material fee when you register online at starkmuseum.org for your seat in the workshop.

Advanced registration is required here. There is a $5.00 fee per participant.

CREATE! Workshops are recommended for ages 8 and up and are designed to be multi-generational, but please note that younger children may require additional assistance from their accompanying grown-up. We encourage family collaboration during these workshops. Children ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult registered for the workshop. Registrants will briefly discuss a selected collection item and then will appreciate art in a new way when they make their own art in the studio. Space is limited to 20 people per session including children and adults – all attendees must register.
