Families with young children are invited to join the Stark Museum of Art for its popular SMA Playdate on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. This FREE program, tailored for children five and under and their grown-ups, offers a morning of art-inspired play, imaginative activities, and hands-on art-making.
Held on the second Friday of each month from September to May, SMA Playdate is designed to foster creativity and fine motor skills in young children through engaging activities. Each session features new art-inspired stories and activities, including:
- Music and movement
- Imaginative play
- Storytelling
- Art-making
Families are encouraged to dress for mess, as creativity often comes with splashes, spills, and splatters! While aprons are provided for little artists, fun and messy moments are all part of the experience.
