This summer, all Wild Wednesday programs at Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center are paired with a book! Each adventure will start with story time, followed by hands-on activities that are related to the story. Be prepared for reading to come to life as we explore nature each Wild Wednesday!
Join Shangri La to discover how to pick the perfect rock. Participants will use our best investigation skills to examine different rocks to look for similarities and differences. After our investigations, participants will tap into their artistic side to create their own pet rocks to take home. Shangri La will provide rocks and supplies. You provide your creative ideas! This program is designed for young geologists and their adults.
Time: Wednesday, June 28, from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Admission is FREE!
Registration is first come, first served. Register to secure your place in the program. Programs are conducted from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on select Wednesdays from June through August 2023.
