Calling all curious young minds! Join Shangri La Botanical Gardens & Nature Center for another installment of Wild Wednesdays with “Over, Under, and Around the Pond,” a hands-on nature program happening Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Inspired by All Eyes on the Pond by Michael J. Rosen, this one-hour adventure invites kids to explore the fascinating life that exists above, below, and along the pond’s edge. From tiny critters to fluttering wings and everything in between, participants will experience:
🐸 Nature-based exploration of pond ecosystems
🎨 Creative pond-inspired art activities
🔍 Interactive observation and discovery
🌿 An introduction to the creatures and plants that thrive in pond habitats
This program is perfect for young explorers and encourages curiosity, observation, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
