Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center invites all nature enthusiasts and photography lovers to participate in its 2024 Summer Photo Challenge! Running now through August 22, 2025, this exciting contest encourages visitors to capture the breathtaking beauty of Shangri La’s gardens, wildlife, and landscapes for a chance to be featured in the Gardens’ social media and marketing materials.
How to Enter:
- 📅 Take an original nature or wildlife photo at Shangri La between June 21 and August 22.
- 🌐 Submit your photo and complete the registration form online by August 25 at 5 PM.
- 📸 All skill levels are welcome! Participants must be 18 years or older.
Prizes & Recognition:
- 🏆 People’s Choice: Finalists selected by a review panel will be posted on Shangri La’s social media for community voting. The photo with the most likes wins!
- 🏆 Staff Pick: Shangri La staff will select 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photos.
- 🏆 Director’s Choice: One standout image will be chosen by Shangri La’s Executive Director.
Visitors are encouraged to take advantage of Wellness Wednesdays, now with extended hours from 7 AM to 7 PM, perfect for catching the golden hour light and capturing the garden at its most stunning.
