The Small Business Development Center’s 2022 Annual Small Business Awards Banquet was held on June 14, 2022.
The winner of Small Business of the Year from the Bridge City Chamber of Commerce was CASA of the Sabine Neches Region. CASA of the Sabine Neches Region is a non-profit organization that supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy for children and youth who have experienced abuse or neglect. They believe that every child should be given the opportunity to thrive in a safe and loving home. They serve Orange, Jasper, Newton, Hardin, and Sabine counties. Codie Smith Vasquez is the Executive Director.
The winner of Small Business of the Year Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce was Orange Stationer. Orange Stationer is a full-service business supply and furniture store, home-owned and operated since 1952 located at 701 W Division Ave. in Orange and is owned by Paul Dickerson.
