Beginning Monday, July 31, 2023,, Tulane Road from SH62 to Gunstream Lane will be closed to through traffic for approximately 80 days for the duration of the Sabine River Authority Tulane Road Siphon Project.
This project will consist of the installation of two new 72-inch culverts under Tulane Road and Union Pacific Railroad. The new crossing conveyance will replace the existing siphon structure as part of ongoing efforts to improve the SRA’s raw water canal system.
Traffic will be detoured to avoid the construction site. Please find alternate routes.
