Lumberton will be the site of Southeast Texas’ newest event, the SETX Renaissance Faire. Dates are May 7th-8th for Opening and Medieval Mother’s Day and May 14th-15th for Pirate Weekend. It opens at 10 AM each day. The fair will be held at 2952 US 69 South in Lumberton, which is the grounds of the East Texas Trading Post.
The fair will feature belly dancers, bagpipers, Zorro with a bullwhip, a juggler, an orchestra, battling knights, and cheesecake in a cup.
Vendor space rentals and participant tickets can be purchased online here. Participants get $5, off when pre-paying online. Ticket prices for 13 and older are $15 at the gate, and children 0-12 get in free. A $40 pass is available to attend both weekends.
