Orange Public Library Announces Summer Reading Programs

The Orange Public Library has a series of Summer Reading Programs for readers of all ages. Upon registration, participants will receive a reading log to record their reading and listening time. Readers will turn in their logs by July 26th to receive Library Bucks to be used at the Library Store.

The programs are as follows:
Preschool Read-to-Me: Wednesdays from June 7- July 26, 2023. from 10:45 am – 11:15 am. A different community member will read to children and parents in the Children’s Room at the library.

Grades 1st – 6th: Wednesdays from June 7 – July 26. 2023, from 10:30 am – 11:30 am. Children going into 1st – 6th grades will participate in a different program each week, including art, agriculture, science, and wildlife.

Young Adults: Tuesdays from June 6 -July 25. 2023. from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm. Young adults will hang out in the library with different activities each week, including VR headsets, video and board games, painting, and more.

Readers must sign up at the library for a Summer Reading Program to attend any of the weekly events. Registration begins Tuesday, May 30, 2023, with the first program beginning on June 6, 2023.
