Tickets are now available for the Orange County Special Angels Fish Fry. The event is at the Orange County Convention and Expo Center and begins at 6:30 PM. Tickets are just $75 per couple or $40 for an individual and are available from committee members, at Farmer’s Mercantile, or by email at info@specialangelsrodeo.org.
Menu options include fried catfish or grilled chicken, twice-baked potatoes, green beans, hushpuppies, rolls, and all the trimmings. During the event will be a live and silent auction, door prizes, and live entertainment. The food is being prepared and served by Robert’s Steak House.
All proceeds will fund the Orange County Special Angels Rodeo. The Orange County Special Angels Rodeo is a 501(c)(3) organization that hosts an adaptive sports event, for people with all forms of disability who under most circumstances would not be able to participate in rodeo events. It is open to anyone ages 1 to 101 and there will be no entry fees for any of our participants. Each participant will leave with a gold medal and other souvenirs from their day as a real cowboy or cowgirl. All events, carnival games, etc. can be modified to meet each participant’s need. The event is open to participants throughout East and Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana.
