The Orange Community Players are proud to announce their upcoming production of Our Town, Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece, directed by Craig Bertrand. This celebrated classic will be performed from September 4–6, 2025, with a special matinee on September 7, at the Orange Community Players Theatre, located at 3330 Bowling Ln, Orange, TX.
This revival is more than just a performance—it’s a celebration of legacy. Our Town holds a unique place in the hearts of the Orange Community Players, having been the very first play the company staged (as Towne Theater) in a local school cafeteria back in 1950. Now, 75 years later, the Players return to Grover’s Corners to honor their roots and revisit the themes that have captivated audiences for generations: love, loss, and the beauty of everyday life.
Under the direction of Craig Bertrand, this production promises to deliver a fresh yet faithful interpretation of Wilder’s timeless work, featuring a talented cast that brings authenticity, warmth, and emotional depth to the stage.
“This production is a tribute to our past and a gift to our community,” said Bertrand. “We hope audiences will leave the theater reminded of the value of connection and the quiet miracles of daily life.”
