The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce proudly partnered with the Orange Community Players, Inc., to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the grand opening of their new home, the Jeff Hattman Center for the Performing Arts. The event marked a significant milestone in the organization’s rich history of community engagement and theatrical excellence.
The ceremony drew a crowd of supporters, including family and friends, City of Orange officials, Chamber Ambassadors, local business leaders, and enthusiastic community members. In a special moment of recognition, Congressman Randy Weber’s office presented the Orange Community Players with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition, honoring their longstanding contributions to the arts and their positive impact on youth development in the region.
During the event, members of the Board and Junior Board shared exciting updates, including:
- Highlights from the Young People’s Theater Workshop, a program that fosters creativity and confidence in local youth
- A preview of the upcoming annual fundraiser, The Hattman Showcase (formerly known as Fun for Funds)
