The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed a new business to our community when they hosted a Grand Opening Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for Risinger & Valls Orthodontic Specialists located inside Christus Hospital – Orange at 6901 Medical Center Dr., Suite 120 in Orange.
With a community history of over 20 years, their family-run business is dedicated to creating a welcoming atmosphere for you as the only orthodontic practice in the area with a female orthodontist.
Dr. Avery Valls is committed to delivering the highest-quality results for her patients. As a specialist in Orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, she is an expert in moving teeth and guiding the facial development of growing children. She treats patients of all ages using the latest techniques in braces and clear aligners.She has received numerous academic distinctions and awards. Among her most notable achievements was her achievement of the highest score on the American Board of Orthodontics Written Examination in the history of her orthodontic residency.
Dr. Valls is originally from Laredo and spent a portion of her upbringing in Corpus Christi, both of which played a role in her love for sunny beaches and good food. Dr. Valls became fluent in Spanish through her time in Laredo, adding an extra layer of comfort for her current and future Spanish-speaking patients. Outside of the orthodontic world, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling the world, trying new restaurants, and obsessing over her Golden Retriever, Emma, and Pilates. She is married to her dental school sweetheart, Dr. Dane Risinger, and is excited to get involved in the Southeast Texas community.
Dr. Dane Risinger will be joining the practice full-time in August 2024. He has received numerous academic distinctions and awards. Among his most notable are graduating Salutatorian from his Dental School Class and serving as the Chief Resident of his Orthodontic residency. He spent a portion of his upbringing in Orange, Texas and could not be more excited to care for patients in the community he grew up in and continue his dad’s orthodontic legacy. When out of the office, you can find Dr. Risinger walking his golden retriever, Emma, around Beaumont, going on runs, or playing sports of any kind. He and his wife Dr. Valls met in dental school and enjoy traveling and exploring new restaurants together. Their favorite place to travel is anywhere in Mexico – so much so that they got married there! Dr. Risinger looks forward to meeting new faces as they get settled in Southeast Texas.
