The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce announced winners of various awards and its new slate of officers at its Annual Banquet held at Lamar State College-Orange on December 13, 2022.
Steve Jones, the owner of Unique Data Services, will be serving as Chairman of the Board, along with his Executive Board, which includes Jessica Hill, Judge John Gothia, Wade Smith, Travis Williams, Amy Peevey, Dr. Shaun McAlpin, and Joe Love.
Award winners include:
- Benitris Edwards for Ambassador of the Year Award and Non-Profit Community Service Award for her non-profit Stars of Gate City #57.
- Jill Watson for being the 2022 Ambassador Chair.
- Robert Currie of Innovative Air Solutions for the Business Community Service Award.
- Heather Montagne as Chairperson of the Year.
- Al Granger, owner of Granger Chevrolet, Granger RV, Granger CDJR, and Granger Supercenter for Citizen of the Year.
