The Orange City Council approved an EDC incentive with Whataburger for the expenditure of funds for eligible infrastructure improvements at 3124 N. 16th Street in an amount not to exceed $300,000 for the purpose of economic development.
The location is near the new Starbucks and Chick-fil-A on 16th St.
Whataburger has proposed an estimated capital investment of $3,100,000 at the project site.
Construction is scheduled to begin in January 2023 with a targeted opening in the summer of 2023.
