he NAACP Orange Chapter proudly invites the community to join in honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, January 20, 2025. This year’s theme, “Renew. Commit. Dream. – Forging the Way Ahead,” reflects a renewed commitment to unity, service, and progress within the community.
The day’s events will begin with the MLK Day March at 10:00 AM, starting from the Orange County Courthouse (106 W. Park Ave., Orange) and proceeding to Mt. Olive Life Center. Participants are encouraged to gather at 9:30 AM for a meaningful walk in honor of Dr. King’s legacy of justice and equality.
Following the march, attendees are invited to the MLK Day Program from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at Mt. Olive Life Center. The program will feature an Open Program, opportunities to Lunch & Connect, a bounce house, and other fun activities for families.
“We are focusing on a renewed commitment to our community,” said Rev. John Jefferson Jr., President of the NAACP Orange Chapter. “This event serves as a time for reflection, celebration, and action as we continue Dr. King’s mission of unity and justice.”
