The MKK Gala is scheduled for Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Orange County Convention and Expo Center, 11475 FM 1442 in Orange. A mixer will be held at 5:55 PM followed by the program at 7 PM. Doors open at 5:30 PM. The organizers promise an extraordinary evening filled with leaders, business owners, unsung heroes, friends, and family. It’s a star-studded crowd celebrating the heroes of the past year and the catalysts throughout the years. There will also be vendors at the event.
The theme of the gala is The Crown of Change: Embracing Roots and Royalty, Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Celebrating Change Agents. The featured speaker is Pastor Vester Thompson Of Eastern Star Baptist Church. Co-hosts are Claydra Rhodes and Miguel Gobert.

The NAACP’s Annual MLK March will be held on January 15, 2024, at Salem’s Church, 408 W. John Ave., in Orange at 10 AM.
