Mardi Gras Festival Date Announced

The City of Orange Convention and Visitors Bureau is hosting a kick-off to Mardi Gras with a concert featuring Keith Frank. The fun starts at 7 p.m. on Feb. 10 at Riverside Pavilion, located at 709 Simmons Drive.

The City of Orange Convention and Visitors Bureau, in partnership with the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce, will be hosting the 19th Annual Mardi Gras Festival on Saturday, February 11,  2023, at the Riverside Pavilion, located at 709 Simmons Drive.

No dogs or pets are allowed at the pavilion, but coolers are permitted.

The schedule of events includes:

  • Kiddie Carnival | 10 A.M. – 6 P.M.
  • Munchkin Parade | 1 P.M.
  • DJ Entertainment | 10 A.M. – 6 P.M.
  • Krewe of Krewes Parade | 6:30 P.M.

The parade route for Mardi Gras 2023 has changed. The parade will begin on Front Ave. and 1st Street, turning left on 5th Street, turn right on W. Division Street, turn right on 10th Street, turn right on Green Ave., and left on Simmons Dr.

Food and drink vendors will be on-site throughout the festivities. Please note — no dogs or pets will be allowed at the Riverside Pavilion.

Entries for floats, motorcycles, gas-power golf carts, and cars are being accepted at the Greater Orange Chamber of Commerce office.  Entries are due by January 31, 2023. The entry forms can be found online here.
