Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center is celebrating its 15th Birthday on Saturday, March 11, 2023.
During the day, make a plan to enjoy the gardens, soak up some sun and take home a free plant, which is available for the first 150 visitors.
Nestled within 252 acres in the heart of Orange, Texas, Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center offers visitors a place with a mission to improve and enrich the quality of life in Southeast Texas.
Experience the combination of a botanical gardens and an eco-friendly nature center featuring more than 300 plant species, outpost tours along Adams Bayou, seasonal nesting birds seen from their state-of-the-art bird blind and heronry, and up-close encounters with nature during classes, camps, lectures, educational programs and much more for all ages.
Admission is free of charge. The gardens are open 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m
