GOACC Holds Ribbon Cutting for Orange Academy of Beauty

in Business

The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce (GOACC) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for The Orange Academy of Beauty, Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at 10 AM at 802 West Park Ave. in Orange. Orange Academy of Beauty has been open for over three years and is a beauty school that has programs for students who want to get their cosmetology operator license or become cosmetology instructors. They also help students who need to finish getting their hours and need help preparing for state board written and practical exams.

Owner Wendy Solomon was born and raised in Orange. She loves the community and wanted to make earning a cosmetology license more convenient for those that have families and jobs while furthering their education. She was a working mother who had to drive to two different counties to finish and obtain her cosmetology license. Wendy has a passion for changing lives and knows that it starts right here at “home.” She has been in the beauty industry for 30 plus years and has been an educator for over 6 of those years.

Wendy and her team are committed to the success of every student.  Clients can call for appointments for a variety of services for hair, nails, and facials.  The Orange Beauty Academy serves women, men, and children and offers top-of-the-line quality education and customer service.

For more information, check out their website, their Facebook page, or give them a call at 409-216-7393. They are currently accepting new students.
