Flood Mitigation Assistance Grant funding for Home Elevation is potentially available for Orange County residents. Homeowners who have flooded twice and had flood insurance for both events may be eligible. Orange County citizens may pick up a packet at the Environmental Health Code and Compliance office located in the Orange County Convention and Expo Center beginning Monday, November 18, 2019, from 8 am to 8 pm.
The deadline to return the completed packets is 2 pm on Thursday, November 21, 2019.
Homeowners should be aware that this is the beginning of a process to apply and homeowners are not guaranteed to be awarded this proposed grant. This deadline is set by the Flood Mitigation Assistance program.
