Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center invites you to experience “Breakfast on the Bayou,” a guided birding excursion along Adams Bayou. This family-friendly program offers a rare opportunity to observe local wildlife in their natural habitat, enjoy a peaceful boat ride, and start the day with a delicious grab-and-go breakfast and fresh coffee.

As the boat navigates Adams Bayou, participants will have the chance to spot a variety of bird species, making their way to the Beaver Pond outdoor classroom. Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just starting out, this slow-paced, scenic journey offers a perfect morning escape. Binoculars and field guides will be provided to enhance the experience.
Following the boat ride, guests will embark on a ½-mile nature hike, offering even more wildlife viewing opportunities. The activity level is easy but includes some uneven terrain.
