This special after-hours event is the perfect night out with a loved one or friend! Guests to Date Night at the Museum can plan to enjoy the following activities throughout the evening:
- Live music by David Gonzales
- Free bites and beverages inspired by the special exhibition Black Pioneers: Legacy in the American West from Free State Cellars
- Mini gallery tours of Black Pioneers: Legacy in the American West with Teaching Artists
- Artist showcases by local artists, including live drawing demonstrations and the opportunity to purchase hand-thrown ceramics, with all proceeds benefitting the Southeast Texas Food Bank
- Interactive gallery games for adults led by Teaching Artists
- Time up close with your favorite works of art (and the opportunity to discover new favorites!)
