Effective Monday, April 20, anyone who would like to be tested for COVID-19 may do so by calling (409) 550-2536 between the hours of 8 A.M. and 8 P.M.
Callers will be required to go through a screening process, but all individuals will be scheduled for a test at one of the testing sites. There is no cost to the citizen for this test.
Anyone who is tested MUST isolate themselves at home until the test results come back, which may take 3 to 6 business days. In order to be tested, you MUST contact the COVID-19 Regional Call Center and receive a patient tracking number as well as an appointment.
Testing for all citizens is now available as a result of those who were asymptomatic but tested positive for the virus.
