City of Orange Announces May 2025 General Elections

The City of Orange has officially announced the details for the upcoming May 3, 2025, General Election, including key filing dates, positions up for election, early voting information, and Election Day polling locations.

Filing Information for Candidates

Residents interested in running for office must submit their Application for a Place on the Ballot by 5:00 p.m. on January 15, 2025, and February 14, 2025.

The following positions will be on the ballot:

  • Council Member Place 2 (Single-Member District 2)
  • Council Member Place 4 (Single-Member District 4)
  • Council Member Place 5 (At-Large)

A Resolution Ordering the May 3, 2025, General Election has been passed, officially initiating the election process.

Early Voting Information

Early voting by personal appearance will take place at multiple locations from:

  • Tuesday, April 22, 2025 – Friday, April 25, 2025: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Monday, April 28, 2025 – Tuesday, April 29, 2025: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Applications for ballots by mail must be received no later than the close of business on April 22, 2025.
