Orange Public Library Hosts Free Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Marathon

Cowabunga, Turtle fans! The Orange Public Library is bringing action, adventure, and nostalgia to the big screen with a FREE Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles triple-feature event on Tuesday, March 11. Families, friends, and fans of all ages are invited to enjoy an action-packed day featuring three TMNT films showcasing everyone’s favorite pizza-loving, crime-fighting brothers—Raphael, Leonardo, Donatello, and Michelangelo!

City of Pinehurst to Host First Annual Citywide Yard Sale

EVENT UPDATE: Postponed to March 15, 2025, due to upcoming inclement weather.

The City of Pinehurst is excited to announce its first annual citywide yard sale, set for Saturday, March 8, 2025, starting at 8:00 AM. This community-wide event offers Pinehurst residents and city employees a free 10×10 selling space to clear out unwanted items while enjoying a fun and lively shopping experience.

The yard sale will occur in the grassy area in front of the Pinehurst Fire Department at City Hall. With only 30 designated spots available, spaces are being reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. To allow as many participants as possible, one space per family will be limited. Those interested in reserving a spot should call City Hall at 409-886-3873 as soon as possible.

Shop, Sell, and Support the Fire Department!

This event is expected to draw a large number of shoppers, as it will be widely advertised to maximize community participation. In addition to fantastic second-hand treasures, attendees can also enjoy delicious burgers and links cooked up by the Pinehurst Fire Department, with all proceeds supporting the department’s fundraising efforts.

⚡ Battles – Test your skills and challenge fellow Trainers in thrilling Pokémon battles!
⚡ Crafts – Get creative with fun Pokémon-themed arts and crafts!
⚡ Pokémon GO Excursion – Explore the library grounds and surrounding area to catch Pokémon alongside other Trainers!

84th Annual Orange Lions Club Charity Carnival Returns This April

The Orange Lions Club Charity Carnival is back for its 84th year, bringing fun, food, and festivities to the community! This beloved annual event will take place over two exciting weeks in April 2025, offering thrilling rides, classic carnival games, and family-friendly entertainment—all supporting local charitable initiatives.

Mardi Gras on Sabine Kicks off on Friday – Friday Events Canceled

WEATHER UPDATE: Due to weather, all Explore Orange events scheduled for Friday, February 21st, at the Riverside Pavilion, including the Munchkin Parade, have been canceled.

The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce Krewe of Krewes parade will still roll at 6:00 pm on Saturday, February 22nd through downtown Orange! The Krewe of Krewes parade will begin on Front Avenue and 1st Street, turn left on 5th Street, turn right on W. Division Street, turn right on 10th Street, and turn right on Green Avenue.
