Southeast Texas Regional Planning Commission has announced that a Nonprofit Security Enhancement Workshop will be held on September 5, 2019. Some nonprofits & faith-based organizations are at a higher risk of a terrorist incident due to their faith, ideology or beliefs. If you are interested in increasing your organization’s preparedness and security, this workshop will provide information regarding available Department of Homeland Security (DHS) grant funds to enhance preparedness within your organization.

Dow Sabine River Employees Remove Trash From MLK Drive

Employees from Dow Sabine River Operations were out on Thursday, August 15, collecting and disposing of trash along MLK Drive in Orange, Texas.

Last year, Dow employees removed 54,000 pounds of trash from waterways across the globe. Goals for 2019 include collecting 100,000 pounds of waste at more than 100 sites, including clean-ups just like this one.

The City of Orange would like to thank each of the Dow volunteers for their efforts to help clean the community.

The Greater Orange Chamber of Commerce has announced that the final model for The Orange Grove is ready. The Orange Grove is a new countywide project to promote pride and beautification in Orange County.  This project will feature the distribution of large concrete oranges across the county.
