Vidor Chamber of Commerce has selected Crystal Shafer as its new director.

Crystal is the co-owner of Texas Built Cabinets along with her husband Michael, where she serves as the President of the company. She has lived in Vidor for 38 years, is a graduate of Vidor High School and her children attend Vidor schools as well.

Crystal graduated from Lamar State College Orange with her Associate’s Degree as a Registered Nurse and worked as an RN for 12 years before joining the family business.

Crystal serves on the calendar committee at Vidor ISD, President of Vidor Cheer Boosters, and recently served as President in her BNI chapter.

Judice’s Cajun Cafe has reopened for business on Monday, December 14, 2020, at 2045 Texas Ave. Their new hours will be from 11 am to 9 pm. Judice’s Cajun Cafe suffered damages from Hurricane Laura. Because of this, they have been doing some remodeling and updates and are now ready to show off the remodeled restaurant to customers.

Among the changes are a new salad bar, new menu items, and many other surprises to share with customers. Their new menu can be seen here.
