Stark Museum Opens Registration for Newest Create Workshop

in Arts

Learn how to glaze a ceramic vase at the Stark Museum of Art’s next CREATE! Workshop held on Saturday, September 23, 2024, from 10:30 AM-12:30 PM.

CREATE! Workshops are recommended for ages 8 and up and are designed to be multi-generational, but please note that younger children may require additional assistance from their accompanying grown-ups. We encourage family collaboration during these workshops. Children ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult registered for the workshop.

Registrants will briefly discuss a selected collection item and then will appreciate art in a new way when they make their own art in the studio. Some CREATE! Workshop artwork must be fired in the kiln. Artwork will be available approximately three weeks after the class. Please check with your teaching artists to confirm your pick-up dates.

CREATE! Workshops have a small material fee per registrant, depending on the supplies used in the workshop. Space is limited to 20 people per session, including children and adults – all attendees must register.

Registration opens August 24 at 8:30 a.m. and can be done online here.
