A new hotel, Candlewood Suites, is being built at the Eagle Point development near the new micro-hospital that is under construction at 6603 Interstate 10. The hotel is part of the InterContinental Hotel Group. The city of Orange has issued a building permit for $3.05 million in the Eagle Point development next to Mueller Buildings.
The hotel is an extended stay facility offering kitchen suites suitable for long-term stays. These hotels are popular with construction workers who come to a city for jobs on a limited-term basis.
